Regarding DONATIONS:
All regional donations must be received by
December 31st to count within that year. All funds will be applied to the year in which they are received.
SCHOLARSHIP rEQUIREMENTS
National Scholarship
Eligibility Requirements
- Submit a complete application, including a copy of high school transcripts, Taekwondo instructor’s signature, two letters of recommendation and essay. The application must be received by February 15th. Late and/or incomplete applications will not be accepted.
- Graduation from an accredited high school with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Acceptance to an accredited U.S. college by August 1st to pursue full-time study beginning no later than September 30th.
- Completed the SAT and/or ACT tests with a minimum combined score of 1600 before March 2016 (or a score of 1200 after March 2016) and/or 27, respectively.
- Exemplify the skills obtained through ATA International, such as discipline and perseverance.
- Never been convicted of drug possession or distribution.
- Registered with the Selective Services, if required.
- Must be a current member.
